All Are Welcome Here!"Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God." - Romans 15:7
What should I wear?
On a Sunday morning, you will find anything from suits to shorts, from flip flops to boot tops. Whatever you are comfortable in, is fine; we’re just glad you’re here!
What is Sunday service like?
We worship in the Lutheran tradition in liturgy and Word on Sunday mornings at 8:00am and 10:15am. These services are usually led by piano and/or organ, with a contemporary praise band on occasion. They last about an hour and comprise prayer and readings from the Lutheran Lectionary, with a message based on that week’s theme. The 10:15am offers a Children’s chat time before the sermon is delivered. Sometimes there’s food! And always coffee!
What about my kids?
Kids are always welcome in the sanctuary! Although on Sundays, we do have a nursery available for the little ones during the 10:15am service. We have ministries and programs for kids of all ages; from Christian preschool right up through Young Adults!
Do you offer Communion each week?
The Lord’s Supper is offered at every 8:00AM Sunday service and the first Sunday of the month at the 10:15AM service. Wednesday services are contemporary and a bit more free-flowing, though we strive to offer communion on the third Wednesday of the month. Here at New Life, we serve communion by Intinction, which is the practice of partly dipping the consecrated bread into the consecrated wine before consumption.
What is Wednesday Contemporary worship all about?
Wednesday Worship is more relaxed; much more contemporary in music and message and an all around “outside the box” worship experience. You might find live music, contemporary DVDs, guest speakers, testimonials, or video messages from well known notable Christians. One thing never varies – we welcome you to share in the love of Jesus Christ and the fellowship of one another. Sometimes there’s food!
